The Polo School

No prior riding experience necessary.

Saratoga Polo School offers both riding and polo lessons for all levels under the careful tutelage of USPA-certified instructor Mario Dino. We pride ourselves in delivering safe, fun and enjoyable sessions that will have you falling in love with the sport before the end of your first lesson. We focus on polo riding skills, hitting techniques, gameplay strategy and horsemanship.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can kids take lessons too?
Yes! We welcome kids ages 8 and up! We also offer summer camps for kids, which are a great and fun introduction to polo!
How do I get started?

How long are the lessons?
The length of the lesson depends on the energy of the horse and rider. Faster lessons with more running will be shorter (30-45min), slower lessons with more talking and walking will take longer (1-1.5 hours)
Do I need to know how to ride a horse?
No! Our lesson program is catered to all levels, from beginners to advanced riders!
Do I need my own horse?
No! We have a string of lesson ponies available for rental.
